     A proud United States Marine, assigned to the First Amphibian Tractor Battalion, 19 years young, in country less than 6 months, he died a hero, defending the freedom of the people of South Vietnam, while fearlessly pursuing their opressors. John deserves to be remembered for his sacrifices, courage, determination and dedication. SEMPER FI, JOHN.
