     James Bailey and Benny B. Coe were killed December 9, 1965, in Binh Duong province. They were standing side by side in the back of a 2 1/2 ton truck when a command detonated mine went off under the truck.

A Note from The Virtual WallThe 1st Bn, 327th Infantry, lost four men killed on 09 Dec 1965 in an incident on Route 13 near Ben Cat; a fifth died the following day from injuries received. It is believed all five were involved in the same incident - the destruction of a 2-1/2 ton truck by a command detonated mine. The five men were
